From the beginning, we started West Sixth with the goal of not just making great beer, but also having a positive impact on the communities we're a part of. It's part of our culture.

We do this in lots of different ways -- from the simple (we have committed to giving 6% of our net profits back to charities every year) to the complex (like being environmentally responsible in everything we do)!

The first Saturday of each month we focus on a different non-profit, and the great work they do in the community, by hosting them in the taproom. We give 6% of our sales that day to the them and they set up all sorts of things to raise awareness and money. We've had everything from a dunking booth, to trivia, to giant pumpkins raise money for our favorite charities.

We love having you as a part of this tradition, so by you coming in and grabbing a beer in our taproom on that day, you are doing a very good thing!

There are even more ways that, by drinking our beer, you are contributing to a bunch of good folks. Buying a six-pack of Pay it Forward Porter gives fifty cents to a local non-profit. Trying a Flight in our taproom gets you a Wooden Nickel, your choice of donating a dollar or getting one off of West Sixth merchandise.
